【天仁茗茶】天露香片 Ten Lu Jasmine Tea ( 375 g )
Ten Lu Jasmine Tea is made from top quality Pouchong tea which is scented four or more times with Jasmine flowers. The typical grade of Jasmine Tea is scented once. Water at approximately 175°F or 80°C should be used for steeping. Do not use boiling water to prevent scalding the tea leaves. Add 2-3 teaspoons (3-6 g) of loose jasmine tea for every 1-1.5 cups (150-300mL) of water and steep for about 2-3 minutes or until desired concentration. These tea leaves may be infused 2 or more times.
Jasmine Tea is a famous tea made from Green or Pouchong (Chinese Green) tea leaves that are scented with jasmine flowers. The jasmine flowers are harvested during the day and stored in a cool place until night. During the night, the flowers bloom with full fragrance. The flowers are layered over the tea leaves during the scenting process. The quality of Jasmine tea is determined by the quality of green tea used as its base and the effectiveness of the scenting.
