Description
The leaves of Tung Ting Oolong are grown in the Tung Ting region of Taiwan at the specific elevation of 2500 feet/740 meters. At this elevation, the leaves absorb moisture from the surrounding fog and clouds every morning and every afternoon for high quality leaves.
據傳南投縣鹿谷鄉人林鳳池先生，於一百多年前赴福建省應考「舉人」及格返鄉，從武夷山帶回青心烏龍茶苗，種植於家鄉鹿谷，是為「凍頂茶」的開端。凍頂烏龍茶是以傳統技藝揉碾成緊實的球狀，茶湯發悠揚花香，喉韻甘醇，是為台灣馳名中外的特產。
